About

Taking pictures of the Beatles might sound as the highlight of one’s career. But this guy survived much more. Dezo Hoffmann was dynamic despite his age, The Beatles were wildly young. And they made him younger, bursting with ideas and he devoted himself to what he did best – photography. He took more pictures of the Beatles than anyone else and captured all the major events of their illustrious career. And not only theirs. His images of famous showbiz stars have become iconic shots full of life, spontaneity, and endless movement. And even though he created one of the most fascinating archives of the world's pop culture scene, only few know that behind his unique photographic handwriting was a life-long experience of war reporter, in which being slow and hesitant had no place.
